Today we look at the top 5 creepiest discoveries. From giant unexplained stone balls to a house with walls full of snakes, there have been some pretty creepy discoveries. What discovery do you think was the creepiest? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below, thanks for watching!
5 - Strange Wheel Patterns
In 1927, these strange circular patterns were spotted in the sand by a pilot. The circles, found in Saudi Arabia, are up to 230 FT in diameter and can be seen from Google Earth. The pilot asked local tribesmen about the puzzling formations and they said they were the work of "old men". Scientists have yet to come up with a better explanation.
4 - Well Preserved Emu
A team exploring Mount Owen was excavating a path between two caves when they stumbled upon the remains of a 3,000-year-old Moa. The prehistoric bird was disturbingly well preserved. A Moa was a 12 FT (3.6 M) tall flightless bird.
3 - Biblical Batteries
Workers found what they thought were vases at a dig site near Baghdad. When examined more closely, they realized they were batteries. Nobody can figure out what a first-century Mesopotamian would need a battery for.
2 - Stone Balls
Since the 1930s, hundreds of stone balls have been found in Costa Rica. They range from a few centimeters to over two meters in diameter. The balls are made from a hard igneous stone, and nobody knows where they came from.
1 - Snakes in the Walls
After moving into a new house, an Idaho family began finding snakes everywhere. At times, they would find over 40 snakes in the yard a day. They soon noticed a slithering sound from inside the walls. Upon looking, dozens of snakes fell out of the wall. It turns out the house was built on a snake hibernaculum (where snakes go to sleep).
